Johns Hair Style Scholarship, Inc.

Johns Hair Style Scholarship was the vision of one person, Mrs. Johnnie Hood. She had a dream that motivated her to want to help the young people who were visiting her hair salon during the summer. They spoke often about the costs of attending a large university and she felt that there had to be something that the community could do.

Johnnie truly adopted the "it takes a village to raise a child" motto and will not rest until she helps as many students as she can.

Strong women and men have assisted her with the scholarship and it is ever growing and ever changing. We are praying for success in all we do in order to provide more scholarship money to students.
